Brigitte Yuille

Ms. Yuille  is a Women in Film and Television Board Member. She has recently been a judge for Spotlight on Screenwriters, CINE Golden Eagle Awards for Independent and Emerging Media, and American University’s Annual Media Awards Competition.

 

 

Ms Yuille has worked in the field of journalism for 20 years in radio, online, print and television. She has specialized in business and financial news.

 

Ms. Yuille began her career as a news intern at WBFF FOX 29 in Raleigh, NC in 1995 while

attending North Carolina State University. Upon graduation, she interned at WJLA ABC 7 and

worked as a Promotions Assistant at WJFK “Ravens Radio.” She accepted a full-time job as an Editorial Assistant at the Public Broadcasting System’s political news program, “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.”

 

Ms. Yuille’s work experience includes on-air reporting, producing news shows, news stories and documentaries, and business news writing at international and national renowned news organizations within the top media markets. Her articles have been published in China Daily, Entrepreneur, Essence, The Financial Times and Forbes. She has worked in marketing departments at global corporations, and she received the Director’s Award for Excellence in Teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at Brown Mackie College.

 

In addition to journalism, Ms. Yuille has worked as an actress. She has appeared in major motion pictures, television shows, and commercials filmed in Florida.

 

Ms. Yuille has earned a Master of Science degree in Communications with an emphasis in Business Journalism and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Florida International University (FIU).
